SANATA 001 (ENGLISH)

My art magazine, sanaTA 001 (English) is out now!

Well, of course, I made some changes on the original poems. Some were left out and all of them were (except “Seeking Artist” poem, but even it was also edited.) completely rewritten -not translated. Because I think, translating Turkish poems to English directly is meaningless.

In the following issues, I might separate all poems from the visual art. I don’t plan on writing a lot of English poems -unless it comes and rhymes beautifully like it did in “Artist’s Manifesto”. It is drastically different from the original Turkish version. But it is beautifully blended in the English language. So, unless something like that happens again, I won’t force myself to write poems in English, just to fit it to Turkish Version. Let’s see what happens in the next issues.
